For those who are new to brewing espresso, getting a good coffee extraction is going to be a bit of a learning curve. Having a grind that is too fine or that runs for too long can cause the coffee to taste bitter and burnt. Running hot water through a grind that is too coarse and not running for adequate time can result in sour coffee. As a process of trial and error, you are going to have to tweak your grind size and extraction duration in order to get a tasty shot of coffee. But with the Bambino on your counter, you are well on your way.
